Villa Saint Joseph is currently hiring for a CNA Full-Time. We offer a positive work environment with multiple shifts available. 

CNA's job duties include but are not limited to:

Job Summary:

• Two (2) Weekends / a month requirement.
• Two (2) Winters and Two (2) Summers or as needed per staffing schedule.
• Additional shifts as needed to assist with staffing needs.
• Establishes and maintains a positive rapport with patients/residents, family members, visitors, etc.
• Complete all activities of daily living, e.g., bathing, feeding, grooming, dressing, toileting, etc., in accordance with established policies, procedures, and prescribed timeframes.
• Proper answers call bells in a timely fashion for assigned residents and any others on the unit.
• Promptly responds to emergency patient/resident situations, notifying immediate supervisors as required.
• Functions as an effective member of the resident care team by completing and documenting assignments in a timely, accurate, and caring manner.
• Effectively collaborates with other care team members to create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth and positivity throughout the unit.
• Assess residents for any decline of condition, signs of chang in condition, wight loss, decline in ambulation, change in ADLs, development of skin breakdown, etc.
• Remain alert to physical and emotional changes and complication and report any significant incidents and/or changes in the residents’ needs to the Charge Nurse/Nursing Director.
• Responsible to be knowledgeable of the mission and philosophy of the organization within the scope of responsibilities.
• Record all job-related data/assessments in appropriate place by end of shift.
• Assure the Residents room is clean and free of hazards.
• Greet and escort Residents to their room if it appears appropriate.
• Assist with Resident transition to new room/space.
• Assist Resident with packing/unpacking if needed.
• Assist Resident with organization of personal belonging if required.
• Notify supervisor of lateness or absence per callout policy requirement.
• Participate in and receive nursing report/change of shift report.
• Assist Nursing personnel if needed with additional tasks within ability and licensing.
• And other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years’ Nursing Assistant experience.
• Current and valid Pennsylvania Notice of Enrollment with Nurse Aide registry preferred.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
• Experience in long-term care required.
• One weekend per month required.
